Deer Size

This area is home to massive whitetail bucks the will often weigh in excess of 300 pounds. Success rates are good with opportunities every season for Boone and Crocket class deer. There is very little hunting pressure and with the Saskatchewan strain of whitetail deer living in the area, you can bet that there are some "monarchs" living here.

Deer in the 160 range are common with the potential of even larger bucks being taken. With thousands of acres of wooded and swampy areas, the region is known for large bodied and large antlered deer.
