Archery Whitetail Hunting–New for 2005
A 12 foot
shooting platform has been added with an outdoor shooting
range utilizing the glendale
full rut buck
targets.
Archery hunts run during the month of October.
They are six day hunts for mature whitetails that are still
on their summer feeding patterns. This allows the hunter to
target these monsters while they are still on a predictable
routine.
Encounters are at close range from ladder, ground
blind or clamp on tree stands. Your hunting day begins before
dawn with a light breakfast and then you will be taken out
to intercept your quarry as they head back to their bedding
sites from their feeding activities. The morning wraps up with
an 11:00 pick up and a mid day lunch. The afternoon will proceed
by again taking stand in an ambush strategically located
between the deer's bedding sites and their afternoon feeding
locations.
Given a little
luck and some persistence you will be smiling with a buck
of your dreams for an early evening photo shoot of you
and your trophy. You will be hunting whitetails from approximately
30,000 acres of private land and from 100 different stand locations.
The opportunity for success has
never been in your favour like this before. Come and
join with us in the hunt of a lifetime.
Laws and Regulations

Attaching the Seal
Fold the game seal around the base of an antler
or slit the ear and pass the game seal through.
he tag should not wrap around itself, but rather form a
loop. Carefully peel the backing off the seal. Keep hair,
moisture and debris off the tag. Then press the adhesive
side on both ends together up to where it wraps around
the deer part. Notch out the month, day and time of the
kill
on the deer seal.
Sealing and Transporting the Whitetail
Deer
When a deer has been killed, the license holder who shot the deer
must immediately after the kill and at the kill site, securely attach the game
seal to the animal. You must notch out the month, date, and time of kill on the
game seal. Only the hunter whose game seal is to be used is allowed to attach
the seal to the deer. It is illegal to transfer a game seal in order to seal
a
deer.
